Add a Cover Message

Configuration options when adding a Cover Message to your Request.

Vouch allows for users to define a Cover Message for any new Request created within the Platform.

The Cover Message will be displayed to the Responder in the very first screen and plays an important role in both building confidence and context with them. The message can be shown in conjunction with a Cover Video, or instead of.

The Cover Message can be defined on a per Request basis, or a default Cover Message can be set under Settings > Cover video & message

The following guide provides an outline of what is supported via the Cover Message editor.

Set Cover Message on Requests

To add a Cover Message, simply click on the Cover video & message tab under your Request Settings.

From here all you need to do is fill in the Message field on the right hand side with your preferred Cover Message and hit Save changes.

Basic Formatting

Cover Messages support basic formatting features including:

  • Bold

  • Italic

  • Underline

  • Dot Bullet Points

  • Number Bullet Points

Links

Cover Message support both Email and URL links being added, allowing brands to link to other relevant resources.

Placeholders

Placeholders are dynamic values which can be injected to help personalise a welcome message. Supported Placeholders are:

  • First Name

  • Last Name

  • Customer Company

Note: If Vouch does not know the Name or Company of the person Vouching, these placeholders will be shown as blanks.
