Basic Editing
The Vouch lets you quickly make changes to your videos, including updating transcripts, applying templates, trimming, splitting, and cropping all inline. This guide provides an overview of these key features.
Editing basics
Trimming
To trim your video, click the scene in the timeline and hover over its edges. Click and drag either the start or end of the scene to your desired length.

Note: If you have the transcript tab open, you can see which parts of the text are being trimmed out in real time.

Transcripts
Vouch offers the ability to change the generated transcriptions for any of your videos.
To edit the transcription, load the video within the Vouch editor and click on the transcription tab on the right hand menu.

This will load the transcription pane, which will show the respective transcripts for your video. To edit a transcript, click on the Edit transcription button.

This will load a modal where you can adjust any part of the transcription. Once you are happy with the transcription, you can hit Save transcription for the changes to take effect.
Thumbnails
Thumbnails represent your videos within the Vouch account and serve as the preview image for playlinks, embeds, and social media (Open Graph).
To update the thumbnail for your video, go to the Edit option in the menu and select Update Thumbnail from the menu.

This will load the edit thumbnail modal where you can either choose to select frame from the video or upload a file to be the thumbnail.
If you choose select frame from video you will have the ability to choose which frame you would like to use from the current video as the thumbnail image.

If you select to use the file uploader, you will have the opportunity to upload a thumbnail from your computer to use as the thumbnail.
Templates
Vouch offers the ability to quickly apply a template to any video in your account.
To apply a template, load the video within the Vouch editor and click on the template option from the menu.

This will load the template pane, which will showcase all available templates in your account, including both system templates and custom templates. As you click on options on the right, the video canvas will update to showcase the new template applied.

Cropping
To crop part or all of your video, select a scene from the timeline you wish to edit. Once selected you will see that the crop button will become available just above the timeline.

Once you click on the crop button, this will load a modal where you can then edit the cropping for the respective scene or choose to apply all scenes.

Edit Scene Details
To update the question and/or contact associated with part of a video simply find the part of the video in the timeline where you wish to update and click on it. Once selected, you will see that the edit scene details button become available. Click on it, to load the update details model.

From the model, you can update the associated title text associated with the scene and the contact.

Once you have updated the items, click on update details to make the changes to the video.
