Brand kit: colours, logos, fonts and media

Brand kit stores your brand's colours, logos, fonts, overlays, images, audio, caption styles, intros and outros in one place, so everyone in your workspace uses the same assets when creating content.

Brand kit is different from Brand settings, which controls how the Recorder and Playlink look. See Workspace branding.

Open Brand kit

Open the avatar menu at the bottom of the sidebar and choose Brand kit. The sections are listed on the left, and the brand kit selector (for example, Branding (default)) sits at the top.

Create a caption style

Go to Captions and click + New style. The caption style editor opens, with a live preview on the right. Set the following:

  • Name: what the style is called in your Brand kit.
  • Caption style: Basic, Stacked, Highlight (the default), Pop or Bounce.
  • Font: the font family, size (50px by default) and weight.
  • Text align: left, centre or right.
  • Text direction: Auto, LTR or RTL.
  • Letter spacing: from −5px to 10px.
  • Text color and Highlight color.
  • Max words per cue: how many words appear on screen at once.
  • Shadow: colour, offset and blur.
  • Stroke: colour and width.

Click Save when you're done.

Create a text style

  1. Go to Text and click + New style.
  2. Pick a font, weight and size, then give the style a name, for example Header (Semibold, 48px) or Sub-Header (Regular, 24px).
  3. Drag styles to reorder them.

To make a font the workspace default, click Set default next to it.

Use more than one brand kit

You can keep separate brand kits for sub-brands, regions or campaigns.

  • Create a brand kit: open the brand kit selector at the top and click + New brand kit.
  • Manage brand kits: click the cog icon, then Manage brand kits. From here you can rename a kit, add a description, see which kit is the default, or delete a kit.
