To create your Vouch Sync, simply click on the Create Sync button located on the Vouch dashboard. Alternatively you can click on the + button in the Vouch header and also select to Create a Vouch Sync.

Once you have selected to Create a Vouch Sync, Vouch will generate the respective Sync links. There will be two links given to you. The first is the host link, whilst the second is the link for the participant.

Sharing Sync links

To share the Sync links, you can either copy and paste them from the Sync modal, or you can choose to automatically generate a Google Calendar, Outlook Calendar or GMail invitation.

For each of these options, Vouch will pre-populate the respective links for the Sync. From here you can decide who you’d like to invite to the Sync and update either the Invite or the Email.

Starting the Sync

Once you are happy with all your configurations, you can hit join Vouch Sync. If you are the first to join, you will be presented with a loading screen whilst the other participant joins the Sync.

Once both participants are in the Vouch Sync, the host will be given the option to Record the meeting. Vouch will not start recording any conversations until the Record button has been pressed.

Once recording has started, you will have the option to pause the recording at anytime. There is no limit to the number of times you can pause. Any conversations that take place whilst the recording is paused will not be saved on your Vouch account.

Once you have collected all the video content you want, you can hit end meeting. Vouch will start the process of transcoding and transcribing the recorded parts of your Vouch Sync.

Find Sync Videos

Vouch Syncs will be added to your Video Library like all other videos type (Uploads, Responses, Recordings, Imports). To filter all your Vouch Sync videos, go to All Filters > Type and select the Syncs option.

For every Vouch Sync, Vouch will create three different video assets. The assets are:

  • Host Recording
  • Participant Recording
  • Joint Recording

For the Host & Participant recordings, you will be given a single video of just the respective individual, whilst the joint recording output will feature both participants in a split screen layout.

Just like all other Vouch videos, Vouch will generate a summary, transcription and identify highlights in the videos for you to use.
