Playlists

Vouch Playlists provide a simple way where you can group various vieos together, edit and optimise and then share through outputs such as Embeds, Downloads, Playlinks or via various Social Networks.

Creating a Playlist

Create a new Playlist

To create a Playlist, choose Playlists from the side navigation and click on Create new playlist button or you can select to create playlist from the + Create option.

From the modal you can give your Playlist a name. We recommend that you give the Playlists a name that relates to the types of clips you’ll be looking to group together.

Once your Playlist has been created, you can now add your videos. To start this process, click on the Add videos button in the right hand panel.

This opens a modal where you can select any video from your Vouch library to add to your Playlist.

Create from Library

Another way you can create a Playlist is from the Vouch Library. From the Library, use the search and refinement options to find the content you want to add to your Playlist.

Once you have found them, select the videos you want to use, and then click on the Add to Playlist button in the bulk action menu.

From the modal that loads up, you can choose to either add these videos to an existing Playlist or create a new Playlist to add them to.

Create from Ask Vouch

To create a playlist using Ask Vouch, open the feature and enter a prompt describing the highlights you want to include.

Ask Vouch will find the most relevant highlights based on your prompt and display them directly in the chat. From there, simply click any thumbnail to play the full clip.

From here you can either continue to prompt the tool for more highlights and/or select the highlights you want and add them to a new Playlist by selecting Create > Create Playlist.

Ask Vouch will provided a suggested name for the Playlist based upon your selections.

Create from Highlights

To add Highlights to a Playlist, simply navigate to the video you want to use and click on the Highlights tab, From here, select the highlights you want to add to your Playlist.

Once one or more have been selected, you will be given the option to press add to playlist.

From the modal that loads up, you can choose to either add these videos to an existing Playlist or create a new Playlist to add them to.

Editing a Playlist

Add a Scene

To add an additional video scene to your composition, click on the Add videos button in the right hand panel.  This will load a modal where you can add any videos from your library.

Trimming a scene

To trim your scene, click on the scissor icon next to it on the scene listing on the right hand panel.

This will allow you to edit just that single scene.  Click and drag either the start or end of the scene to your desired length.

Editing a transcript

To edit a scene's transcript, click the overflow menu next to it in the right-hand scene list and select Edit Transcription.

This will load a modal where you can adjust any part of the transcription. Once you are happy with the transcription, you can hit Save transcription for the changes to take effect.

Reorder a Scene

To reorder a scene in your composition, simply click down on the scene you wish to move and then drag it into the position you want it to now be in from either the timeline or the side display.

Updating a playlist thumbnail

Thumbnails represent your videos within the Vouch account and serve as the preview image for playlinks, embeds, and social media (Open Graph).

To update the thumbnail for your video, go to the Edit option in the menu and select Update Thumbnail from the menu.

This will load the edit thumbnail modal where you can either choose to select frame from the video or upload a file to be the thumbnail.

If you choose select frame from video you will have the ability to choose which frame you would like to use from the current video as the thumbnail image.

If you select to use the file uploader, you will have the opportunity to upload a thumbnail from your computer to use as the thumbnail.

Add a Templates

Vouch offers the ability to quickly apply a template to any video in your account.

To apply a template, load the video within the Vouch editor and click on the template option from the menu.

This will load the template pane, which will showcase all available templates in your account, including both system templates and custom templates. As you click on options on the right, the video canvas will update to showcase the new template applied.

Crop a scene

To crop part or all of your video, select a scene from the timeline you wish to edit. Once selected you will see that the crop button will become available just above the timeline.

Once you click on the crop button, this will load a modal where you can then edit the cropping for the respective scene or choose to apply all scenes.

Edit Scene Details

To update the question and/or contact associated with part of a video simply find the part of the video in the timeline where you wish to update and click on it. Once selected, you will see that the edit scene details button become available. Click on it, to load the update details model.

From the model, you can update the associated title text associated with the scene and the contact.

Once you have updated the items, click on update details to make the changes to the video.
