Requests - Language settings

Vouch allows customers to set configure how the Recorder should handle different languages.

These language settings can be configured at an account level, and set as the default for any new request created or customised on a per request basis.

Configure language settings

To configure the language experience, go to either language settings in the recorder settings at the account level or select the language tab in the look & feel section of your request.

Recorder settings

Recorder language

By default the Vouch Recorder will be displayed in English. If you wish for the recorder to be displayed in a different language (either at an account or request level), you can select from one of the 19 options available here.

Transcriptions

By default, Vouch automatically detects the respondent's language to generate transcriptions. If you expect all responses to be in a single language, you can specify it here to significantly improve transcription accuracy.

Translations

Enable

Vouch can automatically translate all transcriptions into your preferred language. To activate this feature, simply enable the toggle.

Language

If you enable translations, specify what language Vouch should generate the translations in. Vouch will then generate a translated transcription in addition to the default transcription.
