Advanced Editor - Audio
With the Vouch Advanced Editor, you can import your own audio files to add background music, voice-over narration, sound effects, and more to your videos.
The following guide outlines how to add audio files to your Vouch account and how to bring them into your video composition.
Add audio to your Library
To add audio to your Editor library, click on the audio option from the left hand menu to open the audio panel. You can select the upload audio button from the top of the panel to add your own audio files to those included in the audio library.
This will open the upload audio modal where you can either drag and drop your audio file or click to browse for it on your computer.
Once you have selected a file, you can now name it and then click on upload audio to add it to your library.
Add audio to your video
To add audio to your video composition, click on the audio option from the left hand menu to open the audio panel. From the panel you will see every audio file available within your account.
To add in the audio file, either drag the audio file into the video canvas or onto your timeline.
Once added you will be able to see the the audio track in the video timeline, similar to the screenshot below.
From here, you can adjust the audio track's timing by trimming or splitting the clip. You can also fine-tune its settings, such as playback speed and volume.
Recommendation: For background music, lower the volume from 100% to ensure it complements, rather than overpowers, your video's main audio.
