Approval Workflows

Vouch’s Approval Workflow streamlines video organization and ensures only approved content is shared, facilitating seamless collaboration and maintaining brand consistency.

Approval Statuses

There are five different approval statuses available to select from in the Vouch Approval Workflow feature. These are:

  • Approved
  • Approved – Internal
  • Pending
  • Rejected
  • Archived

All new videos and playlists will be marked with an approval workflow status of Pending by default..

Enable Approval Workflows

To enable the Approval Workflows feature within your space, navigate to Organization Settings and select Approval Workflow from the left hand menu.

To enable the feature adjust the toggle to On and Save Changes.

Once enabled, all videos and playlists in your space will automatically be marked with the approval status of Pending.

If you wish to no longer use the feature, you can turn it off by repeating the same process.

Updating Assets

Per Asset

It is possible to update the approval status both from within the respective asset details page and from the list view. To update a specific asset from the details page, navigate to the respective item and click on the Approval Status badge in the top left hand corner (just under the item title).

This will load a modal where you can choose from the picklist what status you wish to apply to the asset. Select update status for the change to take effect.

To update an individual video or playlist from the list view, simply click on the overflow menu on the respective item and select update approval status from the list of options.

Bulk Update

To update multiple videos or playlists from the list view, simply select the items you wish to update and from the other actions list select update approval status.

This will load a modal where you can choose from the picklist what status you wish to apply to the selected videos or playlists. Select update status for the change to take effect.
