Vouch Sync

Vouch Sync empowers your team to conduct and record live, two-way video interviews within a seamless, custom-branded experience. Capture pristine interactions with up to HD video and 48kHz audio, all delivered through a browser-based platform that requires no application downloads for participants.

Creating a Vouch Sync

Generate Sync Links

To create your Vouch Sync, simply click on the Create Sync button located on the Vouch dashboard. Alternatively you can click on the Create button in the side navigation to create a Vouch Sync.

Once you have selected to Create a Vouch Sync, Vouch will generate two unique links. The first is the host link, which you will use to start and manage the call. The second is the participant link, which you can share with your guest to have them join the interview.

Sharing Sync Links

To share the Sync links, you can either copy and paste them from the Sync modal, or you can choose to automatically generate a Google Calendar, Outlook Calendar or GMail invitation.

For each of these options, Vouch will pre-populate the respective links for the Sync. From here you can decide who you’d like to invite to the Sync and update either the Invite or the Email.

Starting a Vouch Sync

Upon joining your Sync, you'll enter the Waiting Room to configure your settings. Here you can set your display name, choose your camera and microphone, and enable a background effect like Blur or Custom Background. To use a custom background, simply upload a JPEG or PNG image from your computer to serve as your virtual backdrop for the call.

When you are ready, click Join Vouch Sync to enter the call. If you are the first to arrive, you will see a waiting screen until the other participant connects.

Once both participants have joined the call, a Record button will appear for the host. Recording begins only after the host clicks this button, ensuring you are in full control.

You can pause the recording at any time, as often as you like. Conversations are not recorded while the session is paused.

When you've finished recording, the host can click End Meeting to complete the session. Vouch will then automatically process the video, which includes transcoding the file and transcribing the audio.

Find Sync Videos

Your Vouch Syncs are saved to the Vouch Library alongside all your other assets. To find them easily, filter your library by selecting All Filters > Type > Syncs.

Every Sync recording produces three video assets: a Host Recording, a Participant Recording, and a combined Joint Recording in a split-screen layout.

As with all Vouch content, each recording also comes with an AI-generated summary, a full transcription, and identified highlights ready for you to use. The Host & Participant recordings will only include the audio stream and transcription for those individuals.
