AI settings: dictionary, style guide and tagging
AI settings tune how Vouch's AI transcribes, writes and tags for your whole workspace. Open the avatar menu at the bottom of the sidebar and choose AI settings.
| Setting | What it does | Tips |
|---|---|---|
| Custom dictionary | Improves transcription of names and terms that are likely to come up, such as product names, acronyms and place names | Enter words separated by commas. Each responder's name and organisation are added automatically |
| Style guide | Sets the tone of voice and writing style when Vouch AI writes from your transcripts, in Ask Vouch and over the MCP | Paste examples of writing you like, such as a LinkedIn post or blog intro, then Train Ask Vouch |
| Tagging: Videos | Applies AI tags to videos, from the transcript and the contact's department, role and location | Each request can override this in its own tag settings |
| Tagging: Files | Applies AI tags to files, from their extracted content |
|
| Tagging: Advocacy | Applies AI tags to advocacy requests | Useful when tags decide which advocates see a post |
AI tagging only picks from your existing tags. It never creates new ones. Tags applied by AI are replaced each time it runs, and tags you add by hand are kept. Click Save changes on each page.
Before you turn on AI tagging: set up your tags and tag groups in Organization settings, then Tags. See Tags.
