Comments, mentions and your inbox
Review content together without leaving Vouch.
You can comment on any video, composition, playlist, image, document or link, mention teammates to bring them into the conversation, and follow every reply in your Inbox. Keeping feedback alongside the content means no more chasing approvals over email or losing track of who said what in a separate chat.

Comments are useful at every stage of a project: flagging a great clip for a composition, asking a colleague to check a transcript, getting sign-off on an edit before it’s published, or leaving context on a document or link so the rest of the team knows why it’s there.
How to comment
Open the item and go to Threads
Open the video, composition, playlist, image, document or link you want to discuss, then select the Threads tab in the right-hand panel. Any existing conversations appear here, so check whether someone has already raised your point before starting a new thread.

Write a comment
Type your comment and post it. To bring someone into the conversation, type @ followed by their name and select them from the list. They’ll be notified in their Inbox, so mentions are the best way to make sure the right person sees your feedback.
Clear, specific comments get faster responses. For example, “Can we trim the first 5 seconds of Sam’s clip?” is easier to act on than “Needs a tweak.”

Reply in the same thread
When responding to someone, reply within their thread rather than starting a new comment. This keeps each conversation together, so anyone opening the item can follow the full discussion from question to decision.
Check your Inbox
The Inbox in the sidebar brings together new comments, mentions and request activity in one place. A red count shows how many unread items you have, so you can see at a glance when something needs your attention. Select any notification to jump straight to the item and thread it relates to.

Email notifications
In addition to the in-app Inbox, users will also be provided email notifications whenever tey are mentioned within a thread.

Manage your Inbox
To keep your Inbox tidy, use Mark all as read once you’re caught up, or Delete all to clear it completely.
To control what you’re notified about, open the cog in the Inbox and choose which notifications you receive. This is useful if you only want to hear about mentions, or want to switch off request activity for projects you’re not directly involved in. For full details, see Notification settings.
