Connect your Vouch account to Canva and enhance your sales decks, social media posts, team updates, and more with videos from your Vouch Library. Our new and improved integration is designed to empower users to harness the full potential of both tools and allows for content to be sent both ways.
This following guide outlines the steps to connect the two platforms, plus how to use the Vouch app within Canva.
Install the App
To setup the Vouch App for Adobe Express, simply navigate to the Integrations page within your Vouch account and search for Canva.
Click on the Canva icon to load the installation modal and then click on connect with Canva.
You will be sent to the Canva apps page where you can click to use in an existing design or use in a new design. Select one of the options.
This will add Vouch as app on your Canva instance and load up the app in the left hand panel. From here you can click on connect to Vouch to complete the installation.
As part of the connection process, you will be asked to log into your Vouch account and grant permission to Canva.
Once you have completed this step, you will be able to see videos from your Vouch account in Canva
Canva Designs
Canva Designs encompasses includes Canva’s Videos, Ads, Presentations, Stories and Social Posts tools.
Import videos into Canva Designs
To import videos from your Vouch account into your Canva design, simply click on the Vouch option in the left hand menu. This will load the Vouch app. The Vouch App offers two tabs, Library and Downloads. Library includes every video that exists within your Vouch account Video Library, whilst Downloads is any exports you have generated within Vouch.
From either list, to bring the videos into the design canvas, simply click or drag and drop the video(s) you wish to use to import.
The videos will then be added to your upload library, as well added to the Canva canvas, where you can use the full suite of Canva editing features.
Some of the Canva editing functions include:
- Ability to trim, crop, split, resize and reorder videos
- Ability to add text, transitions, graphic elements, and animations
- Ability to add music, split audio, add sound effects, narration
- Special pro features like background remover and magic resize
- Ability to export videos to a range of different channels, including all of the major social media channels
Export video to Vouch from Canva Designs
The Vouch for Canva app also allows you to bring back designs you have created in Canva back into your Vouch account. Whether this is finalised edited videos, custom intro or question cards or some other design, to bring the asset back into your account, simply click on the Vouch icon on the left hand menu.
Once the Vouch app loads, you will see the option to click on Export to Vouch at the top of the app. Click on it and then click on Export on the next screen.
Once clicked, Canva will send the rendered asset to your Vouch video library.
Canva Websites
Import videos into your Canva Website
To import videos from your Vouch account into your Canva website, simply click on the Vouch option in the left hand menu. This will load the Vouch app.
The Vouch App offers two tabs, Library and Downloads. Library includes every video that exists within your Vouch account Video Library, whilst Downloads is any exports you have generated within Vouch.
From either list, to bring the videos into the website canvas, simply click or drag and drop the video(s) you wish to use to import.
Once added, you can reposition and resize the respective video. To see how it renders, click on Preview to view the site, or Publish to set it live.
Embed videos into your Canva website
If you do not wish to import your videos into your Canva website and would rather embed the Vouch video player, simply go to Apps and click on the Embed app.
From here you will be given the option to paste in a URL. Use either the Playlink URL for the video you wish to bring in, or grab the oEmbed/iFrame URL for the video. Paste it into the form and click Add to Design.
This will import the Vouch Embed which you can then resize and move around.
Canva Docs
For Canva Docs you can only embed the Vouch video player. To embed simply go to Apps and click on the Embed app.
From here you will be given the option to paste in a URL. Use either the Playlink URL for the video you wish to bring in, or grab the oEmbed/iFrame URL for the video. Paste it into the form and click Add to Design.
This will import the Vouch Embed which you can then resize and move around.
